Why Learning Japanese Gives You a Winning Edge

  • The interview round
  • Adapting quickly to university life and research in Japan
  • Communicating with professors, lab-mates, and supervisors

Many MEXT scholarship recipients begin their Japanese language preparation months before applying — and those who do are far better positioned in written tests and interviews.
